Yes. Students can join and use Meriqen for free. It is currently in beta while we learn from early users and keep improving it.
Who can join?+
Accounts are for students 16 and older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to approve your account before it activates — we email them a link, and they get a read-only view of your matches and application statuses.
Can I use it outside Texas?+
Yes. Meriqen is designed for students from any U.S. state applying to colleges anywhere in the country.
Does Meri submit applications for me?+
No. Meri researches, organizes, coaches, and reminds you. You confirm the facts, make the final changes, and submit every application yourself.
